Frustrated Hammer finally forces move

|

Frustrated Hammer Nikola Vlasic has finally got his wish of leaving West Ham.

The Hammers are close to agreeing a deal with Torino for Croatian according to Italian news outlets. Vlasic spent last season on loan in Turin, and has been keen to return. The Serie A side did have a purchase option at £13 which they decided not to invoke.

Instead there have been a series of negotiations, with the Italians attempting to lower the fee. Vlasic himself has cut a frustrated figure following his failed transfer to East London. Last week the 25 year old launched a scathing attack the club, and demanded to be released.

Vlasic joined the Irons on a five-year deal from CSKA Moscow. However it was quickly apparent that he was not part of David Moyes first team plans.

According to Sky Italia, Vlasic is nearing a permanent switch to his chosen destination for a fee in the region of £10m.

If he was so up for the move he should have chipped in the 3 million that they were short instead of throwing his toys out of the pram.

I feel sorry for the player. He was bought by Moyes who played him in every position bar his best position. Personally I do not think he should have been signed in the first place but it is yet another example of Moyes buying a player for a fortune and the club selling him for a fraction of the price we paid. How many more times does this need to happen before the owners realise Moyes is the problem and his decisions are costing the club millions through poor investments Ward Prowse will be the next big blunder – under no circumstances should we buy him. Surely the owners must realise this. Players want out, coaches have left, players wont extend contracts, losing millions on player investments and all because the owners refuse to sack Moyes. Wake up and do the right thing by the club.

Gonzo, if things couldn’t get any worse there’s a chance they will. There’s a rumour starting to circulate that both Soucek nd Bowen are refusing to sign new contracts due to the current management structure. Have you heard anything?

  • Austrick says:

Good luck to him. Why stay where you’re not wanted? Could have been an even bigger loss.
    We can buy new portakabins.

  • David66 says:

Surely a portacabin is too permanent a structure. WHU should buy tents instead, easy to move on.
