West Ham have denied reports that Denis Zakaria could be on his way to the London Stadium this summer.
Reports were circulating this morning that a fee of around £17 million had been agreed for the player nut once again the Hammers have made it clear that no deal has been done.
With the new Premier League season only a week and a bit away, there is still a long way to go if the Hammers want a successful window as a highly placed source has made it clear to CandH this evening that Zakaria is a non starter although he had been one of those under consideration.
He was one of those being looked at although it is unclear whether he was recommended by the manager or Tim Steidten.
We put it on our best source earlier this evening and the answer was quick and to the point after asking if the reports were true.
He said quite simply “No.”
Not sure he has the quality we need. We need top players to compete on the PL and to get top players we need to look abroad.
Anyone checked on the availability of Jordan Hugill?
If you have a good source within the club. Can you please ask ‘Why does it seem to be a mess and the club structure seems broken with no planning’ I’d love a proper response from them.
Got a song going around head atm…Another one bites the dust.
Moyes’ stated plan to only sign players with Prem experience is not working and doomed due to availability. The only available players will be failures, over the hill or not good enough. Otherwise, why would clubs sell them? Moyes desperation with ‘get Maguire’ shows his embarrassing desperation when the bloke has openly called us ‘ not good enough’. Anyhow, the theory is flawed, Ings not going great due to Moyes!! Follow Tim’s ideas Moyes and back yourself as a coach perhaps? Any fool can sign over 30’s running out of steam – earn your money!
