GOALS VIDEO: THE TRULY GREAT FRANKIE MAC

|

He was my great Hammers hero…for me everything the club represents – excitement, charisma and a fabulous sense of humour.

He was a fantastic goalscorer on the pitch and no doubt in Stringfellows night club!

He was ‘Frankie Mac’ and he is remembered by so many – along with Tony Cottee – as one of the best we ever had scoring 49 goals over two spells at the club which would surely have been far more but for injury when breaking his leg in the return in ’89.

He and Tony formed the greatest twin strike force we have ever seen at the club and his is one of the first faces to come into my mind when I recall the best of our great club’s days.

So today CandH celebrates the great man with the above video.

These are great memories for those who were around at the time – for the younger ones among you – enjoy.
