goldWest Ham Chairman David Gold has given an injury update after the Hammers 2-1 home win over Southampton. He is also hopeful that Dimi Payet will play in some part of the match against Liverpool.

“Enner Valencia and James Collins both took knocks but they should be fine for Saturday. With a fair wind so should Cresswell.dg”

“I am ‘hopeful’ that Dimitri Payet will play some part in the game against Liverpool. dg”

Gold added “It was great to win after going a goal behind with a goal for Michail Antonio and a winner from Andy Carroll in front of a full house. dg”

Andy Carroll also came off the bench in our 2-1 win over Chelsea on 24th October which was our last win before yesterday.

  1. Thought he would highlight Carroll, it is embarrassing the “Love in” with one player! the official club twitter feed was the same when I arrived home and read back, Antonio goal yes mentioned, then Carroll they were all over him like a Rash! re posting tweets from fans loving his new hair style! I get worried about some!

Still stand by that is should be our Manger Slaven who does updates or the club, not one co-chairman on twitter.

  2. James Collins is a throwback to the ‘good old days’ of hardmen defenders – you’ll have to nail him down to keep him out of the next game – it’s a shame that his attitude doesn’t rub off on some of the others!

As far as Carroll’s new ‘hairstyle’ is concerned – it shows someone with too much time on his hands an probably a Missus with too much time on her hands as well – I thought he looked like a prat but there’s probably more than a bit of jealousy in that comment!

  3. No Let’s not talk about big Andys new hairstyle. Let’s instead acknowledge His happy knack of scoring the winning goal to shut up the knockers.

  4. Yes , well played Andy , the bard , Valencia, and all.
    Shame about the haircut .

  5. Couldn’t give a monkeys about his hair style, each to their own.

All I care about is that he stays fit, plays well and hopefully scores some goals.
