Gold: Three top players out but chance of ‘double

|

david-goldDavid Gold believes a thriller is on the cards at the Boleyn this evening and sees no reason why the Irons can’t score another magnificent Premier League ‘double.’

After twice putting Liverpool to the sword this season another top scalp awaits as the Hammers continue their excellent season.

The chairman admits he’s enjoying his football in a big way as the team get the ball down and play and told ClaretandHugh exclsuively: We will see two teams out there this evening who love to knock it around.

“City always attack teams and that gives us the chance to break and hit them on the counter – something we have shown ourselves to be very good at.

“Let’s remember we are without three very important players but we are a very good side these days and with City in third and ourselves in sixth this is going to be a top clash in every sense.

” I fear no teams these days and if we are all on our game today I see that double as being very much on.”
