Absolute top class perfomance from the lads. Except Jenkinson, who let down the team again. 4 points out of 6 vs City.. I guess before start of the season nobody dreamed about such a result but at the end of the day we can feel a little bit disappointed for not getting all six. Anyway im a happy happy Hammer!!! COYI!!!!

Thanks jenks but that’s the last time I want to see you in a c&b shirt ! When the team was announced my thoughts were , I bet he cost,s us the game ?? . Bingo he does it again !!
After the incident he goes down in pain ? Personally I think his bottle went !!!!!!!!
Byram will be a big part going forward , he did really well as everyone on the park did !
Moses is the lazyest defensive player on the park ! Shows no urgency in tracking back at all! When aAntonio went off we lost a player who is in no danger of losing his place to moses at all !! But gave city an open channel to work in .
    The ref was a disgrace ! Should have had a blue shirt on !! 3 / 10 , pants .
Well done my hammers , proud as punch with the effort and commitment !!
Please take it into the next match !!
    COYI!!!!!!!S

Well the people that wanted the non tackling defender in our team THANKS,
Never again and Byram proved he is THIS seasons player not the future,
We were brilliant again and so much Entertainment in our ground,
I do wish people hammer connected especially would stop saying Payet needs a big team or he will leave for a bigger team,
He has a home where he will be worshipped for ever here he is the main man and he will get the money he deserves,
Jelavic deserves praise as well maybe we should have thrown him on earlier
But no complaints from me unless I see Jenkinson on the team sheet ever again unless he is playing against us then I will have a smile

  • Stinger says:

    People bashing Jenkinson, why?

Not my favourite player but that was a wonderful tackle. He clearly won the ball. Never ever should have been a penalty.

Top performance from every player. Great game of football and imho we deserved to win it. So unlucky at the death as well. (hitting the crossbar)

Great to see Valencia hitting form and scoring again. Close to man of the match, but for me that went to Song. Outstanding performance from him.

So that is now 7 games against Man United, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal this season.

5 wins 2 draws and ZERO defeats. 12 goals fore, 4 against.

    Super Slav’s the man.

    • Stinger says:

I also have to add, that the performance today was even more special seeing as we had to also compete against a very poor and very bias Referee.
He did every thing he could to help Man City.

Never a penalty, they should have had at least 1 red card and the amount of cynical fouls he let them get away with was shocking.

  • Muckracker says:

You are right about the referee doing his best to help City Stinger, but to be honest that was a poor challenge from Jenks. No decent right back in his position would have attempted the tackle with his left leg. lt was a clumsy..and wholly unnecessary. l never want to see him in claret and blue again unless of course he is playing for Villa in the Championship next season, or Burnley.

l thought City had no way back in until we rested Antonio. Suddenly we had no outlet, and stopped being a real threat going forward, all of which allowed City to build sustained pressure. ld take Antonio over Moses all day long

  • mooro66uk says:

YaYa puts his right leg across Kouati don`t touch the ball brings him down but no foul.Jenks does the same ; penalty, how many more bad decisions are we gonna get . There is a site where they evaluate refs decisions week to week and we are absolutly stone bottom. all the teams that are top six are badsically top six in the prem. Can`t wait for this weeks evaluation.

  • bubs says:

Jenkinson needs to reinvent himself as a attacking midfielder or any thing but a right back,
He cannot tackle full stop and it 2 late to learn now, he gets the wrong side of attackers all the time,
If we are going to progress as a team he should not be even on the bench,
Oxford may not be a natural right back but he needs playing time and now should be Byrams cover so Tomks can cover are CH position or make a place alongside Reid his own,
We must now think about next season where Jenks will play no part and he is not going to help us win anything this season
