David Gold scored an own goal when wishing the fans a safe journey home from Hull last night.
Clearly delighted with the manner of support the Hammers performance received in the the 2-2 draw he said: “Safe journey home, West Ham fans.
“I know it’s a long way but well done your support was invalid – thank you!”
But later he put out a much needed correction when saying: “Sorry, it’s invaluable. Sadly there’s no cure for dyslexia.”
