Last week we ran a poll to ask which West Ham striker would be most likely to score this season. The Hammers remain the only Premier League side where a striker has yet to score this season but nearly 50% believe Ayew will deliver the goods.
From the 949 supporters who took part in the survey 469 of you (49.42%) believe Andre Ayew will be the first recognised striker to the score for the Hammers, however 169 of you (17.81%) believe no striker will score and the Irons will need to wait for the January transfer window before a striker can find the back of the net.
129 supporters (13.59%) believe Diafra Sakho could be the first to score when he returns from injury but only 64 (6.74%) believe that Andy Carroll will return and find the net first despite both being tipped for a return after the International break.
Just 60 fans (6.32%) believe in Ashley Fletcher while on-loan Simone Zaza picks up 48 votes (5.06%) with Jonathan Calleri managing just 10 (1.05%) who believe he can become the First West Ham striker to score this season.
What, the same Tompkins who can,t get a start for Palace?
First out and out striker to score will be Carroll . Closely followed by Sakho if , he ever wears the shirt again .
Sorry to say Ayew is not a Striker , he is attacking midfielder that gives you options .
At the moment our defenders are the most likely to score . Well , would have been with Tompkins .
I think more would have put Fletcher if they thought he would get a chance but Slav seems reluctant to play the younger players. Imo Oxford and Fletcher aswell as Fernandes could be starting every match, we are likely to do next to nothing in the league but will stay up so use this season to give them a chance.
