Half Time Hammers 0 Newcastle 2

|

They didn’t lift a leg and apart from one one Balbuna header  and side footed shot just wide from  a Snodgrass corners they  showed us nothing.

The defending which led to goals from Clark and Fernandez was beyond any words of mine and it could have been more with a shot from Shelvey appearing to rebound off the woodwork.

It really was so awful it leaves you near speechless and it seems that every team arriving at the stadium has the same approach – get into them from the start and they are likely to cave in.

That was the case today and it is gonna take one almighty second half from a team who have made Newcastle look unbeatable.

What’s so scary about this West Ham team is that they seem unable to get the basics right – passing, tackling, first touch: all are lacking.

Felipe Anderson saw a lot of the ball down the left but kept running into brick walls and only Snodgrass from set pieces looked capable of possibly changing things.

We look for so much better but on what’s gone before let’s not hold our breath too tightly.

Cannot watch anymore of this total inept football, to slow no spirit total crap. Trek back to Lincolnshire for me, maybe watch the Imps now. I know you have criticised comments to sack Pelle but this is clueless football.

Three speeds: slow, dead slow & stop. Why?

  • Claret says:

It seems something is seriously wrong in the dressing room if Pelle does not alter his methods we will be in the relegation zone by christmas, the board have backed him financially now it is up to him to ensure the players he has bought perform or use some of the under 23’s squad & sell the non performers ASAP
