David Moyes is unlikley to see the return of Vladimir Coufal this week meaning his first-choice right-back is likely to miss both the Europa League game against Genk and the London derby Premier League clash against Spurs.
Speaking in his post-match press conference on Sunday, the manager said that the Czech Republic international defender has had an injection in his pubis after he felt some “discomfort”
He said: “Vladimir has taken an injection he had a bit of discomfort in his pubis. He has had an injection in there, he got the injury in the Man United cup game, and he has been carrying it for a few weeks.”
It is hoped he can resume training next week but the Manchester City game might come too soon for the defender with the Aston Villa away game a more realistic target.
It is hoped that Ryan Fredericks will be match fit but Ben Johnson had a great game on Sunday against Everton and might be hard to displace.
All because of the assault by the thug that is Matic, should have been a retrospective red card, imagine if one of W H players had done it to one of theirs!
Ah good to be back having re-registered! Vlad needs a rest to fully recover but fear not as young Ben is showing all the attributes of his uncle Paul Parker and slotting right in. This boy is some player COYI
The Matic assault on Coufal and the Rondon stamp on Souchek have been completely ignored by the authorities. Kral had better be careful when he next plays.
