Hammers on loan midfielder Josh Cullen suffered a dislocated shoulder on Tuesday night during the South Londoners’ 2-0 win over Walsall.Cullen was forced off in the 80th minute leaving manager Lee Bowyer shaking his head in near disbelief at an extraordinary coincidence.
Most reports declare that Cullen has been superb for the Addicks since his move to the New Valley but there is no timetable on his return.
It’s a bitter blow for Cullen who needed a really impressive second half of the season in a bid to force his way back into manager Manuel Pellegrini’s thinking.
Bizarrely, Igor Vetokele suffered the exact same injury as the West Ham prospect last night in an ‘unreal’ coincidence which has baffled the former Hammers midfielder.
