EXCLUSIVE

Here’s the first picture of Mauro Zarate –  West Ham United’s new No 10.

The former Velez Sarsfield and  Lazio striker has – as exclusively revealed by ClaretandHugh – bought himself out of his contract with the Argentine club.

And we managed to get hold of a quick shot of the 27 year old with agent brother after he signed a three year deal with the club.

Welcome to the greatest club on earth young man!

  • Dainon17 says:

So what does “bought himself out of his contract” mean ? we go him on a free or paid him and his agent directly ? any idea what he cost of transfer is or wages….

    • It means there was a clause in his contract with Argentine club that if an offer came for him from abroad he would pay an amount to get out of his contract. Don’t know what it was. If he bought himself out there would be a nominal fee to the club I guess although undisclosed – your guess as good as mine on agent but probably the Joe Cole wages of about 30k
