Irons admit they remain in Lingard/United dark

|

West Ham remain entirely in the dark about the Jesse Lingard option!

The club have received no indication from Manchester United, or the player, whether in the first case he’s available and, if so, whether the 28 year old wants a move to the London Stadium

His brother agent Louie Scott sent a message on Instagram yesterday showing the player in a hammers shirt soon after reports that he could be available at around £20 million.

However, the Hammers still have no idea what’s the club or player intend to do and his future remains as much a subject of speculation now as it has been since he finished his loan spell at the London Stadium.

A top club insider made it clear that with two weeks of the window to go the option may still be available but that no contact had been made.

We were told: “We have no indication from United or the player what they want to do.”

He’d be a useful signing at a sensible price but we need at least one new striker and a centre back as priorities ahead of Lingard in my opinion.

Then put a bid in. And you might get an idea then 🙄
