Hammers arrive for wet weather training

|

The West Ham first team squad have arrived at St Andrews, Scotland for the start of a five day wet weather training camp.

Gone are the days of warm weather training with COVID protocols still in place.

After testing at Rush Green on Friday and Saturday the reduced Hammers squad flew to Scotland on Sunday to check in at their hotel.

The club released photos on social media of the squad on St Andrews on a misty wet Scottish morning.

The weather forecast includes a warning for torrential rain later today and chance of flooding.

Spotted in the images were Michail Antonio, Aaron Cresswell, Ryan Fredericks, Felipe Anderson, Mark Noble, Craig Dawson, Jarrod Bowen, Angelo Ogbonna, Darren Randolph, Ben Johnson, Frederick Alves as well as a number of Academy youngsters given a chance to train with the first team squad.

The Hammers will play Dundee FC this Friday on the first of many pre-season games and return to London this Saturday.
