Hammer has no regrets

|

Hammer Andriy Yarmolenko will now have a  long deserved rest after his nation side Ukraine went out 4-0 to England on Saturday evening.

The Ukraine captain had a great Euro 2020 campaign scoring two goals and assisting a further two and wowed many commentators.

Yarmo was gutted he couldn’t steer his national side into the UEFA European Championship semi finals but showed no hard feelings or regrets when he met up with fellow Hammer Declan Rice post match in Rome.

The 30-year-old will now be allowed three weeks holiday meaning he should re-join the Hammers squad before the end of July although some players decide to cut their holidays short.

West Ham supporters will be hoping that the winger come striker can show the same form he demonstrated for country for his club although maybe it could be argued he needs a run of Premier League games before that come happen.

The Hammer will enter his last year of his contract this season.

Yarmo played really well and would likely be a real asset in Europe. Nice to see the camaraderie between team mates.
