|

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Algerian international midfielder Ryad Boudebouz from Montpellier is being tracked by West Ham,  Newcastle, Lazio, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla FC and Besiktas. Despite his current unavailability until mid-August due to a knee injury,  Boudebouz is attracting interest from across Europe it is claimed. The 27-year-old had a successful season with Montpellier scoring 11 goals in 33 Ligue 1 matches.

Looks a real talent. Our buys from the French league have been successful of recent. Most chances created in europe, sounds like the payet deal.

Hopefully he is another Payet with less attitude and more work ethic and will stay loyal he could easily become a fan favourite like Payet was

I thought we were only trying to get premier league proven?

Only interested in how many times he’s passed the ball 😂 not his part time job in premier inn

He is a great player, however a bit inconsistent. That has been a big hurdle for him to reach higher goals during his career. Last year I saw him live against Marseille and he was a handful. Left, right, up and down. They just could not stop him and if I remember well he even scored twice. Him and Samson were the soul of the team.

Not sure he has the mentality and physical strength to break through in Premier league though. If you asked me to name who he looks like, I would say Mahrez, but in a more central role.

Now, the question is, why would we bring him over if we already have Lanzini ?

  • jimbo54 says:

We need cover for Lanzini bu
t at the asking prix would they sign him as back up

  • crewehammer says:

I think when Lanzini goes to the poo, he’ll be his replacement
