Hammers faced massive queues for away tickets

|

West Ham fans were greeted by a message on the Bayer Leverkusen  website yesterday lunchtime while trying to purchase tickets in a neutral section situated next to the away section.

Some Hammers fans received a message to say there was more than 110,000 people in front of them in a virtual queue to snap up Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham tickets in a section next to away section.

Many were patient and managed to snap up tickets but some Hammers fans say they felt cheated after they paid €30 for a Bayer Leverkusen membership but failed to get a ticket for the quarter finals first leg although the German club does operate a refund policy so West Ham fans can a refund for their membership fee if they failed to get a ticket.

West Ham were only allocated 1,790 tickets for the Europa League Quarter Final first leg being sold out to Bond holders, Club London members, Away scheme members and season ticket holders with 51 priority points or more.
