Hammers in behind-closed-doors action

|

West Ham squad members without too many minutes action this season were given a run out in a behind closed doors friendly against QPR yesterday and were on the wrong end of a Rush Green 3-1 scoreline.

Back-up keeper Adrian played the full 90 minutes for the home side as Javier Hernandez, in his first action since being struck down by glandular fever, scored from the penalty spot.

The first teamers got an hour of action to keep their levels up before the U23s took over for the final 30 minutes.

Ryan Fredericks, Angelo Ogbonna, Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio and Lucas Perez all got a taste of the action over the hour.

Grady Diangana also played in the game and fellow U23s Joe Powell and Moses Makasi lined up in midfield. Reece Oxford came off the bench for the final half an hour, as did Vashon Neufville and Dan Kemp returning from injury.
