Hammers injuries worries

|

West Ham’s worries have increased with the news that Gianluca Scamacca has developed a badly swollen ankle ahead of the game against Arsenal.

The Hammers are hoping it will have improved by Monday following coach Billie McKinlay’s post match Fulham comment that he had appeared to roll the ankle.

It’s the latest area of concern for David Moyes as he surveys his various problems ahead of what will be the toughest match of the season.

As reported earlier Nayef Aguerd remains uncertain after missing Morocco’s final World Cup games and will be checked on his return to Rush Green on the 23rd.

Kurt Zouma will definitely be missing from the game following washout surgery on his knee and that suggests  the manager is set to go with Thilo Kehrer alongside Craig Dawson at central defence.

And following a very decent game against Fulham one would hope that Vladi Coufal is preferred to Ben Johnson at right back.
