West Ham United are competing with Eintracht Frankfurt for the signing of Leeds United defender/midfielder Robin Koch 

West Ham United have  been linked with Leeds United defender Robin Koch.

According to the Bild journalist Tobi Altschäffl on Twitter, West Ham United are competing with Eintracht Frankfurt for the the player.

The reporter has claimed that West Ham are discussing the potential signing of Koch – who can also play in midfielder – as a possible to help fill the departure of Declan Rice.

Koch, who cost Leeds £11.5 million in transfer fees when they signed him in 2020, hjas operated in either role.

According to Opta, last season he played 34 matches, and had three shots on target from a total of eight  (1.26 xG) whilst averaging 45 passes per match with a pass completion rate of 78%, and no assists.

His average Infogol Player Rating in the Premier League 2022/23 season was 6.04, which is not that shabby as Declan Rice averaged 6.37.
