West Ham on making a new Rice offer

West Ham have tried everything they know in a bid to keep Declan Rice at the club and as a result can’t make him another offer.

Many have suggested that with talks still deadlocked over the terms of payment for the player from Arsenal the Hammers should be tempted to make him a fresh offer.

But even should the talks collapse and he remains at the London Stadium West Ham certainly won’t be offering another deal given that he has made his position crystal clear to club chiefs.

Hammers explain they have tried everything to keep Rice

Having learned that the talks with Arsenal having stalled for now with hopes they could be settled in 72 hours, Cllaret and Hugh asked its top contact whether a new offer to the 24 year old could be an option.

He explained that there was little point saying: “Its not about money, he has told many people that. We have tried everything. He wants Champions League football. We have to live with it and use the money to improve the team.”
