Hammers set to announce Reid deal

ReidyWest Ham are set to announce Winston Reid’s new deal on Thursday.

News that the central defender had agreed a new six year deal started circulating earlier this evening.

And sources inside the club have indicated to ClaretandHugh that the news is expected to be officially revealed later on Thursday.

It will put an end to weeks of uncertainty with the central defender thought to have snubbed the advances of Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal.

We understand the player’s deal is worth around 60k a week after being told on Tuesday that he was expected to make his mind up within three days

    Great news he’s a top defender for us. Looks like Spurs deal was just media hype but everything might have been easier if Reid had a new deal last year we need to tie down more of our top lads more the better before we’re in OS.
