Hammers should have finished ninth

|
Liverpool would have won Premier League title last season if VAR was used last season  according to new data from GentingBet

The research has generated alternative final standings that take into account decisions that will be reviewed under the new regulations this season with Liverpool ultimately finishing a point clear of Manchester City.

One of the most significant changes to a result could have been in April when City hosted Spurs, with Kyle Walker not being penalised for an apparent handball in the penalty area. VAR would have awarded a penalty in this incident and Spurs’ 100 per cent record from the spot suggests they would have scored, leading City to drop two points.

Elsewhere, Chelsea would have finished fourth with two less points if Cesar Azpilicueta’s goal against Cardiff was ruled out for offside.

West Ham would have finished with one more point and one more place with 53 points and nineth place.

Totally irrelevant. If my Gran had balls she’d be my Grandad.

Seriously, though, do people get paid to work at places like “GentingBet” or are they just sad statos that need to get out more?

I saw two reports at the end of last season by the tabloids one had us 4th and the other 3rd they weren’t taking into account all the new rule changes so who knows, this season will be the acid test, I think it will benefit us by 5 wins a season which should be good enough for Europa league at the least.

I think VAR is the only way to go but these things are hilarious, the amount of dodgy decisions against teams like us down the years and dodgy ones given to Liverpool.
They beat Palace early on 2-0 with a dive – pen. Now wouldnt be given.
Beat Newcastle and Salah dived for a pen.
Dive V Arsenal (And should have had pen agains them)
    Offside V us at home
5 offside goals, 4 dives for pens. (Till March). Liverpool have done OK down the years and I bet that didnt take away goals that shouldnt have stood for them….

So Liverpool’s only loss would have been against us as they scored an offside goal in the 1-1 draw with us?
