Hammers thumbs up for final two games

|

The Premier League looks to be in no trouble of getting its required majority of 14 to ensure the last two games of the season – rather than one – have fans in attendance.

Club chairman will meet tomorrow to discuss and vote on the plan which will see 10k or 25 per cent of a stadium’s capacity in attendance assuming there are no late covid hitches.

Steps to allow the 10,000 back in to the stadium were originally planned for the final game of the year but for fairness the PL want the final two played in order to accommodate all clubs.

ClaretandHugh understands that West Ham will give their thumbs up to a plan which looks to have the backing of all clubs

This would then allow all clubs to have one home and one away match, with obviously the home game seeing some supporters returning to back their team in the final stages of the season.

The Premier League will need at least 14 votes to pass a motion to move the games although one option open to them is to not allow any fans to return.

any fans to return.
