Hammers youngster in talks over exit

|

Hammers youngster Sonny Perkins is in talks over an exit from the club, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The noted transfer insider reports that the Irons kid is wanted by both Aston Villa and Leeds, who want to bring the forward in.

Perkins has made three senior appearances for the Hammers but he could now be looking to leave.

Those three appearances all came this season; he played 87 minutes against Dinamo Zagreb and 12 minutes versus Rapid Vienna in the Europa League. He also played three minutes in the 3-2 defeat to Leeds in the Premier League.

An England U18 international, Perkins has been prolific for the youth teams in east London.

He scored 10 goals in 22 games for the U23s, after scoring nine times in 31 games for the U18s.

However, he could now be looking for a pathway to the first-team elsewhere, with the two Premier League rivals vying to secure his signature.
