Hard to see anything but an Irons win

|

It’s just as well to take absolutely nothing for granted in this game of course but it’s difficult seeing how the Hammers can be beaten by Leeds tomorrow.

With three key players missing, 17th placed United are going to have one heck of a job on their hands against the flourishing Irons.

Ok, I’m fully aware that such talk is dangerous but so be it I truly fancy us to continue our winning ways from Wednesday night with our Premier League team back in place.

And although I’m not a huge fan of the bloke, Paul Merson makes a lot more sense than Mark Lawrenson when giving his verdict on a match which looks to be there for the taking.

Leeds are without a win this season and have managed to score just five goals whilst conceding 12. It’s really tricky to see how they can be fancied and Merson is taking Mikey Antonio to be the key man.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “If you watch Leeds United now, you’ll realize that teams are changing their players for the game and setting up accordingly to neutralize them – it’s a trend that has caught on in the Premier League.

“I think West Ham can win this game and if Michail Antonio plays, I don’t see how Leeds can live with his threat.

“Leeds probably won’t have the season they had last time around and have not started well”
