Hart’s extraordinary wages set to see off Hammers

|

joe-hart-manchester-city-hull-premier-league_3001982Joe Hart’s’s incredible £175k weekly personal terms are likely to leave him in limbo at Manchester City.

Slaven Bilic is know to want to beef up his goalkeeping situation but the Hart option has never really been a goer given the wages situation.

And with strikers the main priority, even a £75,000 drop in his demands would make it difficult for the Hammers to afford him.

Hart is keen to get regular first team football ahead of the World Cup campaign but it is difficult to see how that can possibly be achieved at the LS given his extraordinary wages.

It would make him the club’s top earner and inhibit the cash available for a top striker. Liverpool seems to remain his most likely destination..

No way is he worth that if it is true, bookies have us at 5/1 to sign Forster now although he made a few clangers as well last season. I don’t understand why we are not going for Pickford he may be young but he was the best British goalkeeper last season even though he let in a hatful of goals, he had a leaky defence similar to ours at times but made save after save to keep them in with half a chance, he has so much improvement in him and with a team of experienced pro’s in front of him would seem to me anyway the perfect option alongside Adrian as our two front line keepers, we can offer Randolph in exchange if Sunderland want him.

Torino wouldn’t have been playing that for him so some kind of deal with man city is do-able clearly. However, I don’t personally see keeper as a priority position for us this summer.

I’d still buy him. Massive statement of intent. Englands no 1. Remember that save from Payets freekick at UP. He was the only keeper to get to a Payer freekick that season.

Pay 30 mill. for Pickford and skimp on strikers. Cue more moaning and hand ringing. We ain’t got the dough to buy him and the strikers we need.

Pickford looks the real deal but he is going to be well expensive if he leaves the Mackems.I suppose we could go for him and then get Calleri back on loan because its the only way it would happen 😁
Pickford will end up at one of the big cheeses anyway,he is a cracking young keeper.Im afraid you will just have to keep dreaming about that one 32 😀😀

lol indeed Rads probably just a dream. Everton are according to sky sports about to bid £30m for him, looks from where I am stood as though Everton are willing to pay market rates for players but we are not and as a consequence are missing targets each season for financial reasons. Everton paid £28.5 mil for Lukaku, big money for Schneiderlin, likewise Bolasie, seems like they are more genuine in their approach to getting in top 6

They can now Farad Moshiri owns them & is throwing big dough in but during the Kenwright days they were no different to us really.Moyes & Kenwright were always bargaining hunting.
Unfortunately we will always be second best unless we get a similiar owner at some stage 32.Well thats the way this thick builder sees it anyway 😂

I thought the Lukaku deal happened before Moshiri but you might be right, in truth we have owners that could do that if they wanted too, they talked it up last year and in fairness they did try with Bacca, Lacazette and Batshuayi but they didn’t pay enough in the case of salary offers to get the players in, Bacca wanted supposedly a small increase on what they offered but they wouldn’t budge and neither did he, I like you Rads am an ignorant supporter would be nice to have an inside track on these things but at least we have C&H to chew the fat on 🍺🍺🍺

Not worth that money at all. Rather we tried to get new back up for Adrian and dumped Randolph. I do feel the keeper situation needs some shaking up.

Ok just read that pickford is going to everton for 30mill.A stepping stone to one of the big cheeses then 😁
30mill for him, thats too rich for our blood.Sully would swallow his false teeth if he was quoted that 😁

  • Chedylan says:

We arent going to smash our transfer record for a keeper. Id hope that there would be one or two young keepers in the lower leagues or lesser European ones that Henry would have identified that would be happy to challenge Adrian in the PL. We don’t need a marque goalkeeper, but I’m not confident going into next season without shaking up an underperforming area of the side.
