Masuaku was bang on the money from the moment he appeared

Randolph : Either the first was perfectly placed or he should have got to it. No chance with the others and a great one-on-on save late on 5
Byram: Low on confidence and with 40% of the crowd in his back I thought Byram was very good, not helped by others (see Snodgrass) 6
Fonte: Summed us up. All-positivity, forward-looking, focus and commitment after we got the second. Leicester played that way from the start 4
Reid (c): Injured very early on while making a last-ditch interception 4
Cresswell: Pushed well back by Mahrez in the first half. Subbed with 15 mins to go 5
Obiang: Must have wished Noble was alongside him when Kouyate was moved to centre-half! First time he’s looked overrun and left the field on a stretcher. He will be missed I fear 4
Kouyate: Barely touched the ball in midfield before dropping alongside Fonte, where he had a decent game 5
Antonio: Statisticians – when did Antonio last play an entire game wide-right? Spent too long in the middle getting the ball stuck under his feet 5
Lanzini: His Neymar-esque free kick got us a fingertip hold on the game. Tried his heart out before his touch finally deserted him in the very final stages 6
Ayew: If he’s a penalty area finisher, then we should try and get him in there a bit more often? One massive miss and jury still out 5
Carroll: Deft knockdown for Ayew. Denied by Schmeichel late on. Special mention for a tremendous flying foul on Benalouane 5
Subs: Snodgrass: A surprisingly positive replacement for Reid. Continually took the easy option and played Byram into dead ends 3
Fernandes: Game was wide open when he entered the fray with his usual energy 5
Masuaku: Was on the money straight away and kept the late momentum going 6

I missed the game so won’t comment on it, terrible news for Antonio, Obiang and Reid get well soon, you will be missed, obviously disappointing to lose to Leicester again, if there is any small benefit to be gained with the unfortunate injury situation it will mean Slav could look at his reserves, maybe if Collins comes in for Reid he and Fonte might hit it off and provide the defensive solution we have been missing ? If Nordveidt is fit maybe he can have a shot in Obiangs position alongside Noble or Fernandes, as for right wing Feghouli hasn’t seemed to do much wrong and if Masuaku played well perhaps he can be given a shot in the left back role for Cressie to regain his form ?

Thought Byram played well… lanzini was again excellent and made things happen… Our defence is looking more unorganised than ever tho… so deflated!!

We would be nothing without Lanzini. He’s the only creative spark at the moment, maybe with the exception of Antonio. I thought the subs did well when they came on. Masuaku looked lively and I’ve always liked the look of Fernandes. Who saw Collins run off the bench to warm up when Reid went down? We need his attitude in the team right now. Then he brought on Snodgrass?

Yes I thought that was peculiar but then I remembered Slav got his wish & played Kouyate out of position ( yet again ) in the back four (just what does he not understand square pegs in round do not fit & we will come a cropper ) Fonte is much too slow to shut out anyone with pace it is about time we gave some of our younger players a game. Board please note when buying new players we need someone with pace not run of the mill loans or retiree’s

I predicted 1 point from Bournemouth, Leicester and Hull when the highly paid manager said 9….I am more and more thinking he is delusional as are the players who seem to think we have done ok this season. If I read once more Slav saying ‘we played good and we deserved something out of the game ‘ we let in two soft goals in the first minutes and didn’t start playing until we were 1-3 down pathetic.

If Collins is the answer, wtf was the question?

Noble was sorely missed, not least by Kouyate.

How adrian.is overlooked time and time again for the worst keeper we have ever had randolph should not be playing cost us so many goals fonte i was never sure of but gave him benefit of the doubt but since signing him our defence has been worse. I believe come the summer we will loose lanzini kouyate antonio allthough i like billic i think we need to part ways come end of the summer
