Howe ready for Hammers after Carabao shock

|

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has found himself in a similar place to Manuel Pellegrini having been kicked out of the Carabao Cup by lower division opposition but insists the team are ready for the Hammers tomorrow (Sat).

He has a fully fit squad and said that captain Simon Francis’ return to the squad has been “a huge lift for everybody”.

The club captain returned to action during Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup defeat at Burton Albion.

And he added that his comeback along with Lloyd Kelly and Arnaut Danjuma at Pirelli Stadium has boosted the side ahead of the game saying:”They are three huge players for us.”

He added: “From my perspective, it’s very positive in the lead up to West Ham, trying to recreate the atmosphere we had here against Everton, which was really good from the supporters and I’m looking for the players to put on a really good show for the fans.

He added: “We know how difficult the league is, so we’d love to win three in a row. It would be the first time in a while we’d have been able to do that, so that’s a huge incentive for us.”
