Husillos makes Chicharito’s position crystal clear

|

West Ham’s director of football Mario Husillos has put a “not for sale” on the head of Javier Hernandez.

And that’s a confirmation of what CandH has been saying for several weeks, that the Mexican will be a key player in Manuel Pellegrini’s set-up this season.

The striker came back to training just yesterday and seems unlikely to feature at Ipswich today as a result but Husillos has not been slow to mke the player’s West Ham position clear..

He said: said: “Offers? There surely won’t be any because people know we have him. For the moment, he’s not on the market at all.

“His [Pellegrini’s] style favours attacking players, because it is to maintain possession, attack, reach the area and create opportunities. The forwards in general are benefited by this type of play.”

In fact, CandH has been told by sources at the club that Pellegrini considers himself extremely fortunate to have inherited Little Pea and believes he is one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Hard to disagree with his track record I will be surprised if he doesn’t use him like Ferguson did though, he is a poacher, Arnie gives you a lot more options and a lot more impact.
