Javier Hernandez remains a target for West Ham this morning despite reports that Spurs are looking at a summer move for him.
Hernandez – currently on loan at Real Madrid – has turned down a chance to join MLS side Orlando City as he continues to study his options.
The Hammers are ready to discuss either loan or permanent terms with Manchester United after the 26 year old decided it was to soon to commit to life in America.
The Mexican has a year left on his deal at United and has drifted onto Tottenham’s possible wanted list after manager Mauricio Pochettino claimed he was ready for a squad clear-out.

Bubs totally agree, while I agree we need another striker, our priority must be a playmaker. You can have all the strikers in the world but if you don’t have a genuine creator in behind the two strikers then you are going to create nothing. The challenge for the club is to find this player. Again Downing is a good player but not in this role, he just does not see the play quickly enough and he loves to take an extra touch. Hope the owners see this. I believe we need a right full, a replacement for Song, wide player to replace Jarvis, playmaker and a striker. And if you add Oxford and Burke to the first team squad we are in great shape. That’s just my opinion.
If we would still have Ravel the playmaker’s problem would be solved… 😉

I think Poyet can replace Song but I think he could be begging for another season or longer
