Irons keep keen eye on QPR defender

|

steven-caulker-hull-city-64064-1834291_613x460West Ham are tonight reported to be retaining an interest in Steven Caulker if QPR go down.

The Mirror is claiming the central defender- who was sought by the club on deadline day – still strongly appeals to the Irons.

Although Ranger owner Tony Fernandes snubbed our interest despite initial talks the player is now being seen as Winston Reid’s replacement should the New Zealander walk away.

Caulker – who went down with Cardiff City will want to stay in the top-flight again should 19th-placed QPR be relegated.
