Irons know what they must do to escape drop zone

|

MoyesInterview978-768x432West Ham’s job in escaping the drop zone tomorrow is now straightforward – a win will do it.

The Hornets have lost their last three games against Chelsea, Stoke and Everton, conceding eight goals along the way.

And with today’s results helping the Hammers cause, everybody in claret and blue will be hoping and praying that trend continues whilst the new manager ‘bounce factor’  having its effect.

Victory at Watford will lift the Hammers into 16th place above West Brom – beaten 4-0 by Chelsea today and Everton who managed a point at bottom of the table Palace via a scruffy 2-2 draw.

With second off bottom Swansea being beaten at Burnley, the Hammers know exactly what that they have to do as they bid to give David Moyes his perfect start and lift off at Vicarage Road.

Were the Irons to really turn it on and win by four goals, they would go 15th on a superior goal difference over Stoke City.

    Yeah a win is feasible…
But when did a Moyes team ever win 4-0? Lol
I’m going with gonzo.. Carroll to score 2-0 West Ham.

To be fair when did West Ham last win 4-0….I reckon we’ll do it though, win tgat is. Going for 3-1 to us but right now I’d be happy with a 1-0 and just to see 11 men in claret an blue start playing with pride and running again….!

I am not willing to suggest a 4 goal effort from West Ham, as much as I’d love to see it.
If Moyes uses carroll as our only striking option, we will be lucky to score at all..
If Moyes uses Sakho (plus or minus Carroll) with Lanzini lurking behind, we will probably score some goals;let’s hope that we score more than Watford-I’m going for a 3-2 Hammers win based on my last comments. Sakho(2), ‘Father of Wplf Nine’ (1)

Totally agree Max. Let’s hope we get the win st least. Would prefer Sakho an Hernsndez but that can’t happen so would like Sakho Ayew, I guess it will be AC and Sakho though but Please not AC as a lone striker if we do that yes, we’ll be lucky to score at all…
