Irons nothing short of incredible!

Looking at the upcoming fixtures it will be fascinating to see how David Moyes  manages the squad rotation which will surely be essential over the next several games
I believe we really do have to strong for Southampton on Wednesday evening and Liverpool away, even with the first team, is a free hit.
Then we have to go all out in Seville to take that tie to the home leg if at all possible before Villa will take some more rotation ahead of Sevilla at home.
That takes us to Spurs – and their Cup final. Hopefully we will still have much bigger fish to fry by then!!!
By my calculations, today was our 38th game of the season and to have got this far in four competitions is nothing short of incredible.
As Moyes pointed out in his programme notes, this weekend two years ago we were in the bottom three.
Onwards!!!

Enjoyed the intensity showed today in a tough game. We were tested, flapped a bit here and there, but largely came through thinking we could have scored more. The next challenge as outlined here is with DM – who to play. Has he got a plan? He can’t just flog the regulars till they drop – that’s not a strategy. So how brave will he be?

I must admit, it was an all round good team performance.
We do lack a cutting edge in front of goal.
    Pleasing to see us back
