So many rumours… Such a frantic time of the year.
With the opening of the transfer window approaching fast all sorts of stuff is being put out there – some inspired guessing and occasionally genuine news.
Sorting the chaff from the wheat is a tough old call unless you know your sources well and which journos are friendly with whom inside our club.
So today ClaretandHugh is introducing ‘The Irons Rumour Rater’ where as of today every story we carry concerning players with which we are linked will carry an RR rating out of 10.

If we are rumoured to want to pay 32+ million for Lacazette a player whose application sometimes comes under question am not sure why we don’t pay AZ however much it costs to get Janssen a goal scorer that appears to be similar in different ways to both Van Persie and Bergkamp a proper striker I am sure 30 million would get him and he is younger than Lacazette.
Bony for Valencia looks like the best rumour on this page. I seem to remember Sullivan saying he wanted him instead of Carroll and could have had him for half Carroll’s price.
