Irons youngster set for exit – Ex

|

Armstrong Okoflex is poised to join Swansea City.

Ex WHU Employee claims the former Celtic attacker is set to make the move to the Championship club on loan ahead of the transfer deadline.

Okoflex is just 20 but has struggled to make a breakthrough to the first-team since arriving from the Scottish side.

He has been a fixture for the youth teams, playing 25 times for the U23s and scoring 12 goals, while also laying on two assists.

There were a host of lower league clubs attempting to bring Okoflex into the club, including Derby County, but he now looks poised to make the move to Swansea.

The two clubs have an excellent working relationship, with the Hammers signing Flynn Downes from the Welsh club earlier in this transfer window.

And it now appears that Okoflex will eventually be going the other way before the transfer deadline.

Hopefully he can get some minutes under his belt and start scoring goals.

Can’t see him getting much game time now. A good move but pity it’s not until January
Do you know if Ashby is injured ?
Not seen since playing really well against Viborg. Not even for the U23’s

This is another young player we need to nurture. Hopefully a loan will help him develop.
