It’s a thumbs-up for Arnie

|

A huge majority of Hammers fans want Marko Arnautovic restored to the team from the start at Manchester City this evening (Wed).

The Austrian international – having been the subject of prolonged transfer window debate followed by injury  at Wolves – began to show some signs of form against Fulham last Friday.

And with few expecting anything other than a defeat tonight the message to the manager seems to be that he should go for it at the Etihad.

Arnie hit the cross bar with a shot off the keeper and provided the assist for Michail Antonio’s late goal and his body language generally was much better than we have seen over recent excursions.

And with over 1,000 voting in our poll asking whether he should be included from the start a total of 89.61 per cent reckoned he should get the chance.

That totalled 1026 votes with just 119 believing that he should either be held back of excluded from the team.
