Jesse is still a Hammer

|

Jesse Lingard reminded everyone he is still a Hammer by turning up at the England training camp at George’s Park with a West Ham bag.

The 28-year-old Manchester United attacking midfielder was photographed with a Hammer club store shopping bag as he met with Declan Rice in Stoke upon Trent.

He technically remains a West Ham player until the end of next month but is now on international duty for England.

The 27-capped England international joined West Ham on loan in January from Manchester United.

Lingard racked up nine goals and four assists in 16 Premier League games for the Hammers.

West Ham paid a £1.5m loan fee, a further £2.5m in wages and a £500,000 bonus to Manchester United for Lingard’s services up to 30th June.

Manchester United are claimed to want £30m for their player but David Moyes is said to think £15m or £20m at a push would be a fairer outcome for all involved.
