Juventus defender speculation way off the mark

|

Claret and Hugh have been informed that speculation and reports surrounding West Ham interest in Juventus defender Daniele Rugani are way off the mark.

One source close to the club simply called it ‘fake news’ while another close to club admitted they had never heard of the player before reading the speculation.

Italian journalists Gianluca DiMarzio and Nicolò Schira were some of the first to break the story but we have been told there is absolutely no substance behind them.

Claims made suggested that the Hammers had offered a loan with an option to buy, but Juventus prefered a permanent deal to sell the Italian centre-back and have asked €18M (£16m) saying talks were still continuing.

One report last night suggested Rugani had agreed on personal terms with West Ham United on a five-year contract.

After failing with attempts to sign James Tarkowski from Burnley, Claret and Hugh have been told that the club is not close with any centre back targets as it stands but are actively enquiring about a number of targets.

This is getting really worrying now …let’s not let the wolves win get to us to much , we are desperate for 3 or at the very least 2 players …if we dont get a full back soon we are bang in trouble, you cant just have the the young lad as our only right back after Frederick’s got injured .they really need to do something now even if they have to over pay a bit …they have gone up in the rich list to 1.6 billion so I’m sure they will survive…ffs get it done

If the club source has never heard of Daniel Rugani an Italian international who plays for Juventus then he/she can’t be that football savvy. If its also true we don’t have any bids in for CB’s that isn’t something to be proud of as we clearly need 1 if not 2.

Of course it’s fake news, it’s involve the Hammers bringing in a player (a defender no less!) and potentially having to spend money to buy said player.

We all know that can’t be true then.
