Tickets for the Juventus friendly on Sunday 7th August at the Olympic Stadium are set to sell out all 54,000 seats despite the fact it will no longer be the first game at our new stadium.
Tickets went on General Sale today after an exclusive one week period for Claret members and priority list members expired. Forty three sections in the former Olympic Stadium have already sold out (shown in red in the image above) with the remaining 56 sections marked in yellow having limited availability.
A source close to the ticket office told ClaretandHugh, they are confident the game will sell out!
Tickets start at £10 for kids and £20 for Adults in the band 5 areas but increase up to £60 for band 1 areas. WHUFC.com has warned fans “Supporters should be aware that due to the expected popularity of this fixture, queuing times online and via telephone may be lengthy.”
When ClaretandHugh checked the premium rate ticket office number at 4pm on Monday there were 29 callers in the queue with an estimated wait time of 49 minutes. If supporters call from a mobile phone that could cost them up to 58 pence per minute meaning a 49 minute call could cost them £28.42 on top of their £1.95 telephone booking fee and the cost for the ticket itself.
It is far cheaper to book online at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/whufc/ where there are no phone charges and only a £1 online booking fee per ticket.
Fantastic that right on the corner flag of east stand is band five £20. What a bargain.
Was looking for 2 seats together for the wife and me, but gave up after 10 minutes of looking. Brilliant that we will sell this place out 🙂
I just booked my ticket on the eticketing website very easy took a couple of minutes.
