Harry Kane has apologised to Declan Rice after appearing to blank his England team-mate during goal celebrations against Albania last night.
The Three Lions made hard work of the game for much of the opening period before Kane headed home shortly before half-time.
That represented Kane’s first England goal in 16 months and he of course immediately celebrated with his team mates with England going on to make it two wins from two games.
Kane was delighted to end his mini drought and celebrated with his team-mates apart from Declan
Twitter user Fake Carlton, and soundtracked by Enya’s ‘Only Time’, Rice was behind Kane n ever received a high five from teh Spurs striker.
That didn’t not go unnoticed by Rice or Kane, while Mason Mount also pointed it out on his Instagram.
Kane tweeted: “Sorry mate should have checked my shoulder” with the Hammers hero responding: I’m waiting for the.. Hello darkness my old friend meme to come
Not a good idea, dissing the future captain.;)
I don’t think this was meant just probably the way declan approached to celebrate with Harry Kane both are exceptional players both are professional, you know there was a lot of players celebrating with Harry at the front, I just take it as unfortunate that Harry did not see Declan and I’m afraid it’s 1 of those instances that as a celebratory player you have to be in their first as you know there is not a lot of time until the game kicks off again from the centre spot
Harry kane would Never avoid any team mate deliberately and declin being behind him wasn’t Harry’s fault that he didn’t see him.there should be more players of Harry’s standard and professionalism, Top Man Top player
