Kudus is set for the bench

Mohammad Kudus is set for the bench in this afternoon’s clash between his international team Ghana and Comoros which kicks off at 4pm. As reported earlier the player missed training yesterday with a back issue but we have learned this afternoon that he is set to be a sub in the game.

It’s good news although as our contact said let’s hope he is not thrown into the action at any stage which might hurt his chances of being involved forĀ  the Hammers against Burnley at the weekend. What with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen injured and likely to miss the game a missing Kudus would have been a bitter pill to swallow.

In the meantime David Moyes will be considering his options up front which now look to suggest Danny Ings may get the shout although Said Benrahma could get the central striker role.

We are not expecting Divin Mubama to be called up although it could be the perfect match for him to make his debut. That is not intended as disrespect to the opposition but if he is to be trusted at all one would believe it may be against a team which has managed four points from 12 games whilst conceding a total of 30 goals.

Why is Mubama never used? Ings, rubbish. Antonio, finished. Give him a chance. How will he get experience of 1st team football while Moyes never picks him? Keeps picking some of our more hopeless players though!!!!! We need a new man in charge, end of
