La Liga club listening to offers for Hammers target

|

Sevilla are listening to offers for goalkeeper Bono ahead of the January transfer window, according to a new report from Fichajes.

The Hammers have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the Morocco international, who is set to go into the World Cup as his nation’s No.1.

Bono is said to have interest from the Hammers and Leeds United, ahead of the winter window.

The Irons could understandably be in the market for a replacement to Lukasz Fabianski, long-term, despite signing Alphonse Areola on a permanent deal from PSG in the summer.

Bono’s contract is set to expire in 2024 and that has left Sevilla feeling somewhat twitchy, as they look to receive the maximum possible transfer fee from an interested club.

There is also the potential, of course, of Bono staying at Sevilla beyond January; a top showing at the World Cup with Morocco would go a long way to increasing his asking price, and potentially convincing suitors to make an offer.
