Late Tuesday evening kick off time for Spurs

West Ham will meet Spurs at the London Stadium for the derby clash on Tuesday April 2 for an 8.15pm kick off.

The game is being shown as late as it gets for these things despite possible public service problems and the often encountered difficulties of last trains home meaning an expensive hotel stay.

The match will be broadcast live in the UK by TNT Sports as we go for a league double over the north Londoners.

Meanwhile, the away match at Wolves remains at 3pm BST on Saturday 6 April as this fixture has not been selected for live broadcast in the UK.

The same is true of our home match with Fulham the following weekend, on Saturday 13 April, although should we progress to the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals, this match would move to the Sunday.

Broadcast selections for the remainder of April, from Match Round 34 onwards, will be confirmed in due course.

Once again though the Spurs day and kick off time shows the game no longer belongs to the fans but the broadcasters.

That’s the spin off from getting all the broadcasters money. They just click their fingers and clubs have no choice but to change their fixtures.
I’m retired but my mate who i go to west ham with works late so he is unable to go to evening matches so i end up going as “billy no mates”.
These evening games are getting more regular and i only think it’s going to get worse.
