Lee loan deal on cards

|
leeWest Ham are looking to put highly promising young striker Elliot Lee out on loan.
However, the club won’t be prepared to let him join a club where he isn’t given regular first team football.
With his chances limited at Upton Park, Sam Allardyce and his backroom staff are keen to give the 19 year old week to week first team experience “somewhere.”
His  spell on loan at Colchester last season saw him score in stoppage time an away draw at Rotherham. He returned to the Hammers in November after making four appearances.
Hopes are high that the youngster will be given an outing in the Capital One Cup clash against Sheffield United next week when should he do so he will receive a squad number.
A well placed training ground source said: ” Elliot needs regular first team football somewhere to progress – it’s finding a club that will play him every week!
He may get a chance against Sheffield United when we could turn out a really attacking line-up.”
