London Stadium delays opening turnstiles

|

turnstilesStadium Operators London Stadium 185 have been beset by technical problems today which have caused the delayed opening of the turnstiles this afternoon.

Gates were set to open at 1.30pm this afternoon as West Ham take on Stoke but by 1.55pm many supporters were still stuck outside complaining they couldn’t get in.

A London Stadium 185 spokesman told us“We are still concluding pre-match checks. Further update shortly”

We received confirmation from the Stadium operators just after 2pm that the Stadium was now fully open. An insider told ClaretandHugh that the Stadium’s public address system was playing up and the whole PA system needed to be re-tested before allowing supporters for their safety protocol.

Delays at the start bad enough but what happened after was far worse. Im section 104 enter/exit gates A . Told can’t turn left on concourse or area directly outside. But I walked towards hackney wick signs. Then turn left at that point walking towards the west ham players car park. We were told there was a delay of walking that way till 18.00 .saw elderly people disabled people and many other held back. No other directions were given by the police so I had to walk my 80 yr old step dad the whole way around the stadium . When just passing the club shop we spoke to a steward saying why don’t you keep them (STOKE) fans behind. We were told “we can’t imprison fans” well they did imprison loyal fans of west ham that were not able bodied enough to walk the distance I walked. I also walk back into the stadium and spoke to a senior steward I know from his chicken run days. He wouldn’t bring down the top managers to listen to myself and then 3 wheelchair bound people that had heard my ranting. When I got to the area I needed to exit to wick lane (where my car was parked) I saw that the police could of easily allowed fans to exit along the pathway without any chance of conflict with away fans. On driving home I told my brother I’M DONE WITH THE CLUB. I’ve just got up still very angry and I repeat I’M DONE WITH THE CLUB. Brady and Co don’t care one bit about fans be able bodied disabled elderly . She can have her posh tossers. And when or if we go down I will **** myself when it’s half empty. The likes of myself didn’t care if we went down I STILL WENT. THOSE LOT WILL NOT. Last year as a paying west ham united fans.
