He was a clear winner of a poll which asked who would be the first Irons striker to score for the club this season ahead of Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.
The £20 million club record signing lines up in a team which sees two changes from last weekend with Edmilson Fernandes on the bench and James Collins coming in for the suspended Winston Reid.
Over 20 per cent of those polled believed Ayew would be the first striker to get on the scoresheet this season which of course excluded makeshift front man Michail Antonio.
Not a bad line up but would be so much better with Fernandez in place of the has been NOBLE . He is holding us back offering nothing in attack or defense because his lack of mobility now shows up his lack of real talent .
