London Stadium owners have published a third variation of the West Ham concessionaire agreement.
The new contract variation was signed by West Ham Vice-Chairman Karren Brady and witnessed by Hammers CFO Andy Mollet on 21st December last year.
The amendments relate to the new West Stand and the contributions agreed to make.
The online document reveals there are now 68,013 seats in football mode at the London Stadium although the venue is currently only licensed to use 62,500 on match days.
West Ham agreed to pay £378,800 of capital towards the £14.5m cost of the new lower West stand and £125,000 in planning section 106 contributions with £191,700 per year in seat transition costs.
The West Stand has increased from a capacity of 5,200 to 6,700 with 1,500 additional seats installed as part of the new demountable stand construction.
The contract also reveals that the front seat of the new stand must be between 10 and 20 metres from the football pitch.
The initial concessionaire agreement signed in 2013 saw West Ham pay £2.5m per year in rent but three variations and index-linked increases have bought that closer to £3.5m per year.
How close are the seats at the moment Sean?
