Mourinho to West Ham? No way Jose

|

Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move to West Ham only months after his dismissal from Roma.

The 61-year-old Portuguese coach was rather unceremoniously dismissed by the Giallorossi back in January, just days after the team suffered a painful 3-1 loss away to Milan, a result that left them ninth in the Serie A table. He was replaced by Daniele De Rossi, who has shone upon his arrival.

The report has come from Football Italia, and whilst I feel duty-bound to report the story, I just can’t see it. Mourinho is yesterday’s man, and his tactics have not aged well. He is a manager on the way down, whose best years are behind him, and West Ham needs to look forward.

Mourinho-Moyes

Cut from the same cloth. Mourinho and Moyes share tactical similarities

It would also be a case of jumping from the frying pan, straight into the tactical fire. Not many Hammers fans complain about the results over the last four years of David Moyes tenure. But the style of football is a source of frustration and Mourinho is just as negative.

I struggle to see a version of West Ham where David Sullivan and Tim Steidten decide to appoint someone like Jose. I actually think he would interview well because he’s a charming and likable guy. However, he does have a tendency to go stale rather quickly, and I just think there are better options.

Mourinho no he’s as bad as moyes when it comes to negative tactics like moyes his time is behind him now he like moyes will just plod along with the same old crap bring dished up being enough to send most of the fans to fall asleep we need a manager with focus with a winning mentality and a positive mindset with the players we have in our squad we should be able to beat most teams but with mourinho we would just get the same as Moyes so it would be pointless in changing the manager for more of the same
