Moyes frustrated with Yarmolenko situation

|

David Moyes has revealed his frustration of losing Andriy Yamoleenko to Covid while on International duty with the Ukraine.

The manager was asked by reporters on Friday morning whether he was frustrated that there is so much international travel resulting in more cases like Andriy Yarmolenko?

The manager asked ‘The answer would be yes but I have to say that with the fixture list, we knew it was there with the international break. It has been very difficult with the testing situation, I don’t think there is an easy solution’

The Premier League has seen a spate of positive tests over the International break with some commentators calling for a suspension of International games and travel until a  vaccine is widely available.

Tomas Soucek was forced to self isolate after coming into contact with a Czech Republic backroom staff member who tested positive while on International duty in a previous International break and Yamolenko has been the latest victim of the West Ham squad to catch the virus.
